Savannah Outen just released her single and music video for “Boys” which premiered on Nylon Magazine along with an interview with Billboard. Talk about dropping a single with a BANG!
The American singer who gained fame through YouTube is displaying a maturity and professionalism we rarely see with artists who started online. With her catchy hooks and powerful vocals that remind us of a young Amy Winehouse, we think this single is the start of a big career for her. Savannah’s single “Boys” was actually produced by Eman and Jon Redwine, who are behind Tinashé’s hit “2 On” which explains the R&B flair in this song that we can’t stop playing.
The video provided exactly what this catchy song needed – energetic shots of downtown Los Angeles and streets to add a bit of grit and edge of reality. Savannah has a great look and vocals that could possibly end up overthrowing Ariana Grande – the current Queen of ballads.
